The Evil Geniuses are coming closer and closer to making my ideal possible:

Giving me the ability to lay out on the beach and watch baseball on the TV at the same time.

Now, if they would be generous enough to develop mobile solar panels to run the TV, sound system and kegerator at the same time, we'd have a temporary nirvana on the sand.

This morning I saw this bug. I showed the pictures to a friend that said that it is a grasshopper. I didn't think that grasshoppers looked nearly day-glo green.

That wasn't the only green creature in my yard this morning:

That bugger was big, about five feet long. Seemed like a nice iguana - it was a hot day and a friend that keeps iguanas said that they like being sprayed with water, and I sprayed this one with a mist...he liked it. Damn shame I don't want to get what it would take to keep him.

So I wanted to blog about this killer, diller breakfast Olga made with love for me earlier this month.

We went to get some wine for the wedding, came home and opened a non-descript pinot noir. It only made the room hotter (it's 91°F according to my indoor thermometer). I'm walking around my apartment in my underwear. I stand up with my butt to the fan because the cooling perspiration feels good ('nuff said)?

I finally shut off the pilot light on the gas space heater for the year. Get back to you in November about lighting it up again...drop a line if you want an invite to that event
